Welcome to the Blue Waters New User Training!

Prerequisites

Hardware
This is a hands-on introduction to Blue Waters. Therefore, participants are encouraged to use their personal computers that they play to use when working with the Blue Waters system.

Please consult with the Setup page for details on the required software

Background
Because this is an introduction to Blue Waters, you’re expected to be familiar with basic Linux commands. Please have a look at the Software Carpentry Bash lesson. We will cover some additional topics needed for working on the Blue Waters system is it will definitely help if you know the basics.
