This is a cryptographic/security library that is based on Java 8. IN Java 8, there was access to internal Java security classes which were moved then hidden in later Java releases. This will let you work with various certificate formats, create certificate requests, manage public and private keys and a bunch of other extremely useful things. There is an astonishingly dearth of good software for this in the Java world.
Just use this as a dependency in your project. You should not build this since it is tricky to do so correctly.
